I am an entrepreneur, non-exec director, advisor, investor and philanthropist

• Demonstrated entrepreneurial and executive track record in software development as Founder, CTO and CIO at Dotmatics, a digital science platform used by more than 2 million scientists. The business was acquired by Insight Partners in 2021.

• Pharmaceutical informatics experience interacting with Dotmatics’ global customer base across pharma, biotech and academia.

• Hands-on R&D expertise as a medicinal chemist and cheminformatician at Merck & Co following a BSc in Chemistry (Durham) and MSc in Chemoinformatics (Sheffield).

• Non-exec experience serving as a NED for Dormole, a tool distribution, manufacturing and logistics business with £250m+ turnover and 1,000+ employees.

• Advisory experience serving on the Alzheimer’s Society Innovation Advisory Group and the University of Hertfordshire’s HTCC Innovation Advisory Group.

• Angel investments in a range of healthtech and software businesses.

• I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a member of the American Chemical Society and the Institute of Directors.
